We explain causes by category rather than as a single list. Most conditions — depression, anxiety, PCOS, infertility, sleep problems, children's behaviour — involve several at once.

Biological, psychological, behavioural, social, environmental, genetic or familial, and medication or substance-related factors can each contribute. Sometimes the honest answer is “multifactorial” or “not fully known” — and we will say so rather than invent a single cause.

Usually shorter recovery and no abdominal wound. Appropriate for most low-risk pregnancies; assistance or a change of plan may become necessary during labour.

Can be life-saving when medically indicated. It is major abdominal surgery, with longer recovery and implications for future pregnancies — so it is a medical decision, not a preference contest.

Illnesses can be viral, bacterial or non-infectious. Antibiotics only help bacterial infections. When they are appropriate: right medicine, right dose, right duration, then reassessment. The WHO AWaRe framework guides responsible antibiotic choice worldwide, and it shapes how we prescribe.

Asha has no ICU and no ambulance. Sometimes the safest decision is to stabilise a patient and move them to a higher-level facility. We say this openly because you deserve to know before you need it.

If a patient needs intensive care beyond our infrastructure, referral to an appropriate higher-level facility may be necessary. If a procedure needs equipment or subspecialty expertise not available here, we explain the limitation rather than implying it is available.
